G'iah is a young Skrull in Captain Marvel, daughter of the commander Talos and his wife Soren, raised among refugees sheltering in a laboratory hidden in orbit above Earth.
G'iah is a young Skrull. She is the daughter of Talos, a commander of the Skrull forces, and his wife Soren, and like the rest of her people she can take on the exact shape and voice of anyone she sees.
After the loss of the Skrull homeworld, G'iah and her mother travel with a group of refugees looking for somewhere safe to settle. By 1989 they take shelter in a laboratory hidden in orbit above Earth, and G'iah grows up there out of sight while her father keeps searching the galaxy for a home for their people.
