Gale

Officer Gale is a police officer in the San Francisco Police Department. He works patrol alongside his partner Jim Paxton, a fellow officer whose home life connects him to the story: Paxton is engaged to Maggie, the ex-wife of Scott Lang, the film's central character. Ant-Man follows Lang, a burglar released from San Quentin who is determined to go straight for the sake of his young daughter. As part of the city's police force, Gale and Paxton represent the law that shadows an ex-convict's every attempt at a fresh start, giving the film's caper its constant edge of risk.
