Flores is a detective of the Los Angeles Police Department, and the officer the wealthy founding families of PRIDE call when their affairs need police attention. The arrangement runs back years: when Tina Minoru's daughter Amy died, apparently by her own hand, it was Flores whom Tina called, Flores who came to the Minoru Mansion to oversee the inquiry, and Flores who concluded it was suicide.
