Five Families

The Five Families are the five organized crime families that divide the underworld of New York City among themselves. Each family is led by its own head, with figures such as Luca, Viktor, Carlo, and Alex controlling their respective territories and rackets across the city. The families operate through a rough shared order: tolls for crossing into another outfit's territory, negotiated cuts of profits, and sit down meetings where the heads air grievances and settle accounts. Daredevil: Born Again returns to a New York where crime, law, and politics tangle together, and the Five Families form the criminal establishment beneath that surface.
