He spent a week at Kamar-Taj studying the Mystic Arts before they threw him out for summoning a stack of kegs and his friend Ky-Dog onto the training grounds, and he walked away with his Sling Ring. Turning white roses red gets him nothing from a crowd, so he brings a volunteer up on stage and opens a portal instead, which gets him plenty. Blaze sees no problem with any of this.
