Disciples of Ammit

Judgement is the central rite of the Disciples of Ammit, the neopagan cult Arthur Harrow founded and leads around the Egyptian goddess Ammit. A follower comes forward and Harrow reads them: the tattoo running up his arm turns green if the scales come out clean and red if they do not, and the ones it turns red on do not walk away. The doctrine holds that Ammit weighs a life before it has been lived, so a person with a blameless record can still be found guilty of what they were going to do, and Harrow's answer to any protest is that the scales are never wrong. The cult is armed. Militarized disciples guard the ceremonies with pistols, shotguns, submachine guns and assault rifles, and travel in convoys of off road vehicles.
