Agent Diaz is a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative, one of the recruits Melinda May brought in when the agency rebuilt itself in the open under Director Alphonso Mackenzie. She serves as a tactical agent with STRIKE and, just as often, as a pilot: Quinjet-rated and good enough to count among the organization's main fliers, she has flown teams out of the Lighthouse to anomaly sites and done the unglamorous work of getting other agents where they need to be, and back.
