DeeDee fights on the front line of the Flag Smashers, a revolutionary movement built around the slogan of one world, one people. Opposed to borders and to the governments redrawing them, the group runs raids across Europe, robbing banks and stealing vaccine shipments and relief supplies that it funnels toward displaced families living in resettlement camps. As with the others at the movement's core, DeeDee is a super soldier, with strength, speed, and durability far beyond an ordinary person, and in the field she answers to the movement's young leader, Karli Morgenthau.
