He is part of the detail she takes to Llactapata, Peru, to recover a weapon from a temple there, where they run into Phil Coulson and his team and a short firefight breaks out, cut short when Reyes makes it known that she and Coulson are old acquaintances. When villagers attack the site, Cusi boards the Bus with the rest of the group.
