Cull Obsidian's Chain Hammer

The weapon Cull Obsidian carries is a single massive hammer only at rest. On command the head reconfigures: into a pickaxe that shears through concrete, a shield broad enough to turn aside repulsor blasts, a vice that pins an opponent flat to the ground, a hooked scythe blade, and a claw that grips and lifts. The head also comes free of the haft, so that either the hammer or the claw can be thrown at speed on its chain and hauled back in. Folded down the other way, the whole thing becomes a gauntlet worn along Obsidian's forearm, which opens into a two armed claw or extends into a long blade.
