Cosmo the Spacedog

Cosmo is a Labrador the Soviet Union bred, suited up and put in a rocket in 1966, launched as a test with no plan for bringing her home. She did not come down. Taneleer Tivan found her out there and added her to the museum he keeps on Knowhere, where she lived inside a glass case and where the enhancement programs run on her turned a dog into something considerably more: telekinesis, telepathy, a mind that handles complex work, a body that takes punishment, and a lifespan that has already outrun any Labrador's by decades. A collar at her neck gives her a voice other species can follow. She still wears the Soviet suit.
