Connie Lin

Connie Lin owns Genghis Connie's, a restaurant in Harlem, and she rents an apartment to Luke Cage. She is a landlady who does not let a late payment slide. When Cage runs ten days behind she asks around the block about him, works out which way he walks to his second job, and is standing outside the restaurant waiting when he comes past. Three hundred dollars is not the rent and she tells him so, then lets him go and earn the rest on the understanding that she wants it that night. She runs the restaurant with her husband, Jin Lin, and the books are not good.
