Christian Blake is a detective with the New York City Police Department, stationed at the 15th Precinct Police Station. He and Carl Hoffman were close friends before either joined the force, came up through the department together and rose to detective, and they work most of their cases as partners. Blake is a blunt and short tempered investigator: when the case against Karen Page brings him up against the lawyers Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson of Nelson and Murdock, he threatens to beat up Murdock for talking down to him.
