Bobby Fish
A friend of Pop and a regular at Pop's Barber Shop, a chess player who takes most of his games and handles Pop's taxes every year.
Bobby Fish is a friend of Pop and one of the regulars at Pop's Barber Shop in Harlem. He fathered a daughter when he was young and left the family soon after, and has not spoken to her since. Fish and Pop met over chess in the park and played there for years, with Fish taking most of the games, and when Pop grew too busy for the park Fish started turning up at the barber shop instead, where he plays whoever is around and does Pop's taxes every year. He is an opinionated follower of the New York Knicks and trades needling insults over the board with Turk Barrett.
