Bob Shlottman

Bob Shlottman is a general contractor from Omaha, the husband of Barbara Shlottman and the father of Hope and Owen. He and Barbara raised their children to be frugal and to spend only when needed, and both were proud but uneasy when Hope left Omaha for college in New York City. When the calls from Hope stop, Barbara talks him into travelling to New York to look for her, and when their own search turns up nothing they bring the case to the detective Jessica Jones at Alias Investigations, where Bob busies himself trying to fix her broken office door while Barbara explains the situation.
