Georges Batroc sells for money what France trained him to do for a salary. Born in Marseille in 1981, he served in the French Foreign Legion, rose to adjudant and moved to Algeria, then worked in the Action Division of the DGSE, France's foreign intelligence service. Since going freelance he has hired out as a mercenary, a pirate and a terrorist, and has been tied to sixty-two linked crimes, enough to put him on the wanted lists of the FBI, the British Armed Forces and several other services, and to earn him a Red Notice from Interpol. He goes by Batroc the Leaper, and the name suits the way he fights: acrobatic, airborne as often as not, leading with his feet.
