Arturo Rey III

Arturo Rey III, born Arturo Gomez III, is a Dominican American drug dealer out of Washington Heights. He came up as a stick-up kid and hustler with the Diablos, a crew that pushed into Harlem before the Yardies drove them out, and he reinvented himself afterward under a new name, founding Merlin Discount Furniture and styling himself the discount furniture king of Washington Heights. The store fronts his real trade, moving cocaine and heroin hidden inside his couches, and while he has taken cocaine ground from the Colon Crime Family, heroin still brings in the bulk of his money. When Mariah Dillard puts her weapons up for sale, Rey III is one of three bidders who pitch her at Harlem's Paradise, arguing that his money is clean and that guns in his hands mean protection for Harlem.
