Armand Duquesne III is a wealthy socialite and Jack Duquesne's uncle. The Duquesnes have been friendly with the Bishop family for years, close enough that Kate Bishop grew up going to brunch at the Duquesne Brownstone. At a charity gala in December of 2024 he takes Kate for a waitress before he places her, compliments the tuxedo she has worn, and mentions in passing that her mother and his nephew are engaged, which is news to her. He would prefer she dress in a more ladylike way at the wedding. He is not shy about his opinion of the match, or about correcting a younger Duquesne who announces he is bored and wants to go home.
