Anne Marie Hoag is the Director of the United States Department of Damage Control in Spider-Man: Homecoming, the federal body set up to clear the destruction that superhuman fights leave behind. In May 2012, in the days after the Battle of New York, she oversaw the department's work across the city, arriving at salvage sites with an armed detail to inform private crews that Damage Control held the contract for the debris and that they were to withdraw. Four years on she was still running the department, leading her team to the wreck of the Queens Community Bank to assess the damage.
