Angie Kim

Angie Kim is a detective with the New York City Police Department in Daredevil: Born Again. She works alongside fellow detective Cherry and is trained as a hostage negotiator, running scene calls with a calm, procedural manner and a precision of speech that the people on the other end of the phone notice. Kim holds that the police represent law and order, but she allows that vigilantes are much like officers: some are genuinely good people who want to help, and some are caught up in the power. She is blunt with colleagues, telling Cherry to his face that his retirement looks to her like quitting.
