Albert Thompson

Albert Thompson is a scientist, and he was once a father first. His son Kevin was born with a degenerative disease of the brain, and Albert and his wife Louise fought it the only way they knew: with science, and then with more science, a childhood of neurological exams, biopsies and experimental interventions in place of a childhood. The treatment saved the boy's life, and it left him with something no protocol predicted: from then on, what Kevin told people to do, they did. Albert and Louise fled their own son, and they have spent the decades since in hiding from him, carrying the memory of what they saved and of what they made.
