Adam Pratt is an airman of the United States Air Force serving in Afghanistan. He is part of the small security detail assigned to move Tony Stark by Humvee convoy from a weapons demonstration in the desert back to Bagram Airfield.
Pratt rides in the back of one of the vehicles with fellow airmen Jimmy Ryan and Ramirez, in desert fatigues and body armor with his weapon across his lap. Young and plainly pleased to be sharing a ride with the head of Stark Industries, he keeps the conversation going through the drive, trading questions and jokes with the civilian in the seat beside him.
