Self-proclaimed Overlord of Fist and commander of the renegade Malazan Sixth Army in Rool, a brooding and badly frightened man who keeps his rooms broiling against a cold only he feels.
Yeull 'ul Taith commands what is left of the Malazan Sixth Army in Rool and calls himself Overlord of Fist. He came to Korel with a Malazan invasion and was among the renegades who cut ties with the Empire and kept the taxes they had been collecting for it, and he rules from Paliss, the third man to hold the country since Greymane was removed from command. The office has not been kind to him. He was never popular with his soldiers, being given to brooding, and as Overlord he has grown terrified of betrayal and mutters under his breath as though holding a conversation with himself. He has long black hair, dark eyes and a pale scarred face, wears a bearhide wrap over his shoulders, and keeps his chambers broiling against a cold no one else can feel.
