Uruth Sengar

A skilled weaver who keeps the Sengar bloodline tapestry current with whatever part her family is playing in the affairs of the day, Uruth is matriarch of that house and a Tiste Edur witch of Kurald Emurlahn. She is mate to Tomad Sengar and mother to Fear, Trull, Binadas and Rhulad; her own father fell in battle against the Arapay. Her command of Edur magic is considerable, though she finds the Letherii soul hard to plumb. When a casting of the Tiles goes badly wrong and a Wyval touches the slave Udinaas, it is Uruth who heals him, and Uruth who keeps watching him afterward for any sign of the taint. She is uneasy about Warlock King Hannan Mosag's swelling power, and angered to learn that he answered a fleet of Letherii seal poachers with a demonic summoning rather than an unveiling of Kurald Emurlahn.
