Turban Orr

Turban Orr sits on the Council of Darujhistan and is one of its more powerful members, ambitious and short of patience, forever fretting and pacing. He is well dressed as a rule, in jewelled cloaks and polished boots and gloves, and he is said to be the finest duellist in the city; the sword he carries has a silver pommel. His lips are thin and one forearm is heavily scarred. He is the lover of Lady Simtal, the husband of a young woman known simply as Lady Orr, and uncle to Hanut Orr and Lady Sedara Orr. One of his carriages, crested with the arms of his house, is driven through the streets with no regard at all for anyone else using them; watching it pass, Crokus Younghand thought the horses shared their owner's contempt for the people he supposedly served.
