A Letherii harbour city watched over by the seven storey basalt Tarancede Tower and home to the Trate Legion.
Trate is a Letherii harbour city. The seven storey basalt watchtower called Tarancede Tower stands over the southern end of its harbour from an artificial rocky island, and the city is home to the Trate Legion.
The land Trate stands on belonged to the Fent and the Nerek before the Letherii conquered the region and built the city. One of the city's Indebted, a young sailor named Udinaas, is taken from these waters into Tiste Edur slavery.
