Trake

The Tiger of Summer and Battle answers to two names, Trake and Treach, and in Korel he is called the Beast of War. He is a Soletaken First Hero, made by a Soletaken ritual in the time of the First Empire and one of the few to come through the slaughter the T'lan Imass delivered afterward. Since then a long line of great warriors have gone looking for the giant tiger in order to measure themselves against it, none of them aware of what they were actually hunting. Mappo, speaking with the D'ivers Ryllandaras, named him Treach's brother and spoke of a rift between the two that opened somewhere in Dal Hon or Li Heng, though whether the bond was blood or friendship he did not say. Fiddler claimed to have been there when Emperor Kellanved fought both Treach and Ryllandaras outside the walls of Li Heng.
