The Tenescowri are a vast and starving horde that moves with the armies of the Pannion Domin and is turned loose on conquered cities. They fight as a frenzied rabble without discipline, armed with cleavers, knives, and hatchets, and they prevail by weight of numbers, climbing over one another to reach an enemy. Any of their own who fall are dragged back and devoured. The dead are their only food, and they replenish their numbers by mating with dying enemies, so that those born to them are called Children of the Dead Seed.
