Telorast and Curdle
A pair of inseparable ghosts imprisoned in a fragment of Kurald Emurlahn, luminous-boned and black-eyed, keeping up an endless exchange of insults, lies and cheerful threats.
Telorast and Curdle are a pair of ghosts held in a fragment of Kurald Emurlahn, and they are never seen apart. Both were probably female once, and both have a long history of thievery behind them. They appear as shades of translucent flesh with strangely luminescent bones and skeletal faces pitted black where the eyes should be; in daylight they grow harder to see and risk dissolving altogether if they are careless. Between them runs an endless conversation of insults, threats, lies and half-truths, and they shift without warning from confusion to sudden clarity. Under the comedy is a current of real menace, murderous remarks dropped between harmless ones. They loathe Shadowthrone, who they say comes to their prison only to taunt them, and Curdle has been heard to say she wants her throne back.
