Tarthenal

The Tarthenal are a people of the continent of Lether and descendants of the Thel Akai. They are enormous, and built differently from a human inside as well as out, with two hearts and at least three stomachs.

The Letherii conquered them, and of all the tribes taken into that empire the Tarthenal came closest to destruction outright. Their old lands lay northwest of Letheras, and Letherii settlements such as Brous, Denner, Dresh and Lan still carry Tarthenal names. Those enslaved went scattered far from home, and most Tarthenal remaining in Lether live in the pit towns outside the cities. Their gods are worshipped to turn those gods' attention away rather than to draw it.
