One of the young Tiste Andii raised on Drift Avalii under Andarist's protection, with a jester's face, a sharp tongue and no use at all for prayer.
A long jester's face, always quick to a smile or to some piece of wry mockery, marks Skintick out among the young Tiste Andii who grew up on the drifting island of Drift Avalii. Nimander finds him unserious, a man who treats the whole of existence as a joke. He is not one for prayer, least of all to Mother Dark, whose cruel-hearted denial of her own children he regards as a wound in the Tiste Andii that has never stopped bleeding.
