Sinter
A Dal Honese sergeant of the Bonehunters who enlisted only to keep watch over her wilder sister Kisswhere, and who is followed in turn by a soldier in love with her.
Sinter is a sergeant of the Bonehunters, leading the 4th squad of the 8th Legion's 3rd Company. She and her sister Kisswhere come out of the southern Dal Hon jungles, from Badan Gruk's own tribe, and she enlisted for no reason other than to follow her sister and go on keeping her out of trouble. Badan Gruk followed her into the army in turn, out of an affection she has never encouraged. Her corporal, Pravalak Rim, is hopelessly taken with Kisswhere, and when her sister laughs him off Sinter quietly tells him not to give up.
