The Rhivi are a pastoral nomadic people of the central Rhivi Plain on Genabackis. They are small in stature and brown skinned, and they live off the bhederin and antelope herds of the plain, following them through a seasonal cycle. Some of the bhederin are half domesticated, tolerating Rhivi walking among them and even riding them.
They build nothing in stone or brick, and their belongings travel on thick wheeled wagons made for high grass and muddy sinkholes. They burn bhederin dung for their fires. They are not a warlike people by nature, though when they do fight they speak of holding the Spear of War, and in clan feuds they use horse gutters to bring down mounted warriors from ambush in the tall grass. Their shouldermen and women travel in dreams and read divinations from burned shoulder bones.
