Based at Scale House on the Quillas Canal, its limestone facade crawling with carved rats, the Rat Catchers' Guild of Letheras kills only those rats that refuse avowal to it.
The Rat Catchers' Guild is one of the guilds of the Letherii capital, based at Scale House on the eastern side of the Quillas Canal in Letheras. The building is tall and narrow, wedged between a temple archive and the quarters of the Guild of Street Inspectors, and its limestone facade and column-flanked entrance are covered with carved rats in every pose imaginable. The road it stands on runs parallel to the canal, lined with buildings more than two hundred years old in a forgotten style. The guild kills only those rats that refuse avowal to it, and carries the rest home.
