Ragstopper

A dilapidated Malazan trader craft out of Bantra in the Falari Isles, the Ragstopper is the sort of vessel that looks unlikely to reach the next port, and more than one ship has carried the name under the same captain. During the Whirlwind uprising, High Fist Pormqual contracts her to carry the Aren treasury to Unta. Aboard with the cargo go the city treasurer, his two bodyguards and twenty marines, and two more passengers book their own way: Salk Elan and Kalam Mekhar. Her captain keeps his name to himself. Orothos serves as first mate, with Palet acting in his place and Tillin Vole on lookout.
