Raest is a Jaghut Tyrant who digs himself free of a frozen barrow in the Gadrobi Hills and blasts open its wall, eager for a new world to enslave.
Long ago his own mother cast him off through the Sundering of Blood, and he bent the first Imass into an empire of slaves who raised temples to him without knowing him. Other Jaghut banded together to break that empire and imprison him, locking much of his power away in a Finnest. Free at last, he hungers to reclaim it, and five dragons, the red Silanah among them, sweep down on the broken tomb.
