Pon-lor is an Apprentice Thaumaturg mage of the 7th Rank and a cohort leader, pale and long haired. Abandoned by his parents, he lived briefly on the streets of Anditi Pura before the Thaumaturgs took him in as an apprentice. He has risen far enough that Commander Golan counts him promising, and has been passed over for promotions all the same, lacking the family connections his peers can call on.
