Oponn are the twin Jesters of Chance, Ascendants who share a single Unaligned card in the Deck of Dragons. The brother pushes and bad luck follows; the sister pulls and fortune turns kind. Meddling in mortal lives is a game they play for their own entertainment and a way of fouling the designs of other gods, and the tension between them is a private contest that never ends. He appears as a young man with a thin pale face empty of expression, dressed in loose foppish silks of white and gold. She is slim, her blonde hair touched with red, wrapped in gaudy silk and a shimmering purple cape.
