Omtose Phellack

Omtose Phellack is the Elder Warren of the Jaghut, the ancient sorcery of ice. It is one of the primal warrens, old alongside Tellann of the Imass and Kurald Galain of the Tiste Andii, and wholly unlike the young paths of magic that human mages walk. Its workings run to cold, stasis, and preservation, glaciers raised as walls, land sealed under ice, the heat of life held at bay; in Jaghut lore it brings the cold required to temper the fire of life. With the Jaghut themselves scattered and fading through the world's long ages, their warren belongs mostly to the past, met in old barrows, frozen places, and the workings of the last of that solitary race.
