Maral Eb

Warchief of the Barahn, Maral Eb goes to war in bronze brigandine with his face behind a white death-mask and his arms streaked in red ochre, his greased hair spiked and set with red-tipped porcupine quills. He likes the picture of himself at the head of a moving clan, the tip of a barbed spearhead, with the standard-bearers coming on behind him under iron-sheathed poles hung with severed heads. His brothers Sagal and Kashat are young warriors and capable ones, and they are with him in whatever he sets out to do. Within the White Face Barghast his bitterest rival is Humbrall Taur of the Senan, and when Taur calls the clans to counsel in central Genabackis, Maral Eb answers with more than ten thousand seasoned weapon-bearers at his back.
