Mammot

Mammot is an aged and eminent scholar and historian of Darujhistan, and a High Priest besides, named in different accounts to D'rek and to D'riss, the latter being his warren. He is uncle to the young thief Crokus Younghand. He lives at the top of a tenement at the mouth of an alley, up warped stairs and past curtained doorways loud with children, in rooms holding a massive desk and a shuttered window that looks onto a squalid overgrown garden with a lone tree. He keeps a familiar, a bhoka'rala called Moby. He regards the pretence so rife on Majesty Hill with a sardonic reserve that has seeped into his nephew over the years.
