Lock

Lock is one of two Hounds newly running with the Hounds of Shadow, alongside another newcomer called Pallid. Where the pair came from goes unexplained, including by the powers of Shadow who claim to have summoned them.

Lock is bone white, whiter than Pallid, with onyx eyes and a hide covered in scars that show dark blue skin beneath the short white hair. He runs leaner and longer necked than the Hounds of Shadow, and though he is huge he carries about half the weight of the Hound named Cast. He keeps his distance from the pack at first, then attaches himself to one of the older Hounds with a persistence she finds intolerable and he plainly enjoys.
