Letheras is the royal city of the Letherii, a place of towers, high bridges and canals, home to the king's court and his sorcerer.
Workers clamber like monkeys over the great dome of the Eternal Domicile, a royal palace so hard to raise that four of its architects have taken their own lives. Casters of the tiles read the Holds throughout the city, and the Merchant Tolls tally its wealth in peaks. Some half-blood Tarthenal say Letheras destroyed their people and mean to destroy it in turn.
