Kruppe

Kruppe is a Daru mage and thief of Darujhistan and a regular at the Phoenix Inn. He is small, round and obese by one associate's reckoning, with short oily curls, pencil thin eyebrows, a round shiny face and watery, bulging, frog like eyes, and he is short enough to barely clear the top of a high table.

He speaks of himself in the third person at length, in rambling monologues, and calls himself foolish so often that strangers take him at his word, which those who know him consider the least accurate thing about him. He once told a refugee from Pale how he stole a crown and a sceptre from a king's sarcophagus. He refuses to ride a horse, preferring his mule, and loves pastries.
