K'rul

K'rul is an Elder God of the Malazan world. He belongs to the eldest age of worship: hunters offered him blood and split bones long before the first stone settlements rose, and by the present his cults are gone and his followers few to none. In Darujhistan his abandoned belfry still stands above the lower city, and the Elder God stirs there, waking into the dreams of the citizen Kruppe after blood is spilled on his old ground. He appears as an unprepossessing hooded figure in rags, average in height, with long sinuous fingers, and he speaks with the patience of something that has watched ages pass.
