Kallor

Kallor is second in command to the warlord Caladan Brood. He serves in the alliance holding the north of Genabackis against the Malazan armies, and he speaks of himself as a man who walked the land in the childhood of the T'lan Imass, who commanded armies a hundred thousand strong, and who has sat alone on high thrones.

He is dry and sardonic in the councils of his own side, and he takes part in the military talks and the parleys as Brood's second without ever seeming bound by them. He commands no loyalty among the soldiers and earns only grudging respect. Whether the claims he makes about his age and his vanished empires hold up, none of his companions can say.
