Jorrude

Tall, stern and sour of face, pale-skinned under long silver hair, Jorrude is a Seneschal of the Tiste Liosan and a warrior-priest of Osserc. He wears ornate enamel armour and a visored helm that hides most of him, carries a scimitar that looks to have been carved out of ivory, and rides a long-limbed white horse with a wild rust-coloured mane. Like most of his people he is arrogant and judgemental and inclined to impose order with the edge of a sword. With three companions, Malachar, Enias and Orenas, he rides in search of outsiders who trespassed in Kurald Thyrllan, and finds them in the drowned Nascent: the T'lan Imass Onrack and the Tiste Edur Trull Sengar, who had just shattered the ward protecting a gate into the Liosan warren. The clash is brief, and the Liosan break it off when T'lan Imass arrive to reinforce the pair.
