Jacuruku

Jacuruku is a continent of the Malazan world, set tens of thousands of years before the present. In that distant age it was the seat of the High King Kallor, whose dominion over the continent is remembered as crueler than the rule of the Jaghut Tyrants, and the land was ruined in the cataclysms that ended his reign. In the present Jacuruku is far-off and little known. Immense ice fields to its north and east bar easy passage, mariners place the Sea of Storms off its northeast and the White Spires Ocean to its south, and geographers call it a sister continent to Korel. Some temple maps do not show it at all.
