Ibra Gholan rides with a party of Logros T'lan Imass hunting the Unbound, seven renegades of their own kind, and he leads a clan of his own. He is armoured in the outer skin of a dhenrabi and carries a denticulated sword of grey flint. His companions on the hunt are the Bonecaster Monok Ochem, Olar Shayn and Haran Epal. The trail goes cold in the Nascent, that drowned fragment of a shattered warren, and in place of their quarry the hunters come upon the T'lan Imass Onrack T'emlava and the Tiste Edur Trull Sengar squared off against a party of Tiste Liosan under Seneschal Jorrude.
