Humble Measure is a master iron-monger of Darujhistan at twenty-seven and the owner of Eldra Iron Mongers, born the bastard son of a One Eye Cat merchant and a Rhivi woman. Nothing about his appearance draws the eye, which sits oddly beside the ruthlessness of his ambition. Beneath his company's headquarters in the Gadrobi District lie ancient vaults, and among them he keeps a private office where he works through the night behind a skein of long-dormant wards, known to a single loyal servant.
